About Us

I started in the tile business on April 1, 1985 as a salesperson, figuring that it would only be a matter of time before I ran out of floors and therefore a job. Now, 27 years later, I can safely say I don’t think I have to worry about that anymore. In that time, I have worked both the retail and wholesale side of the flooring business and have been a salesperson, sales manager, operations manager, installation manager, regional manager, sales trainer, multiple store owner and installer.

As you can imagine, in that time I have seen any number of good and bad installers and installations. Generally, the difference between the two comes down to some pretty simple things. First, it is the commitment of time, talent and knowledge to provide a customer with a quality installation. Secondly, using the proper products, in the proper way, following the guidelines set up by the products manufacturer, the Tile Council of North America (TCNA) for tile or the National Oak Flooring Manufacturers Association (NOFMA) for hardwood. And most importantly, treating the customer with the same respect that you would expect from a contractor working in your home.

I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to be involved in the remodeling of your home and strive to make your experience as pleasant and professional as I can so that you can not only enjoy your new tile and hardwood for years to come, but feel confident to recommend me to your friends.
